We have an exciting variety of wheat to tell you about!  The whole wheat grain we normally use (such as in our Honey Whole Wheat) is a hard RED spring wheat, grown in the northern plains of Montana.  We have recently added an new variety:  a WHITE spring wheat which has a lighter texture, and slightly sweeter, nuttier flavor than the red wheat.  

(In fact, in recipes which call for white flour, we often use the White Wheat instead, increasing the percentage of whole wheat in those breads, often to 100%!)

So how can you get a hold of some of this great stuff??    

Well, it just so happens that we make a basic 100% whole wheat loaf, using this White Wheat, called........"Golden White"!      Lots of kids find they love this bread, (which makes their moms very happy).   We hope you will love it too!
